Moel Famau in October

Moel Famau is in many ways the jewel in the crown for North Wales. The highest point in the Vale of Clwyd, Moel Famau gives visitors extensive 360 degree views across the valley itself, towards Llangollen to the East and the Wirral and Merseyside to the North.

All Year Round

Moel Famau offers a breath taking experience throughout the seasons, and can even be so during bad weather.

These photographs were all taken during October 2016, showing a landscape filled with natural beauty.

Visiting Information

The simplest way to visit is make your way by car to the public car park, and then follow the well signposted tracks to the Jubilee Tower on foot.

Dedicated walkers and ramblers visiting North Wales may want to look up many of the longer well established trails.

Many visitors looking for a longer stay in the area like to book ahead with a quality Bed & Breakfast or Self Catering establishment, such as Glan Clwyd Isa.
